Officers responded to Glenoaks Elementary School on Newcome Drive near Babcock Road and Wurzbach Road just after 7 a.m.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio firefighters responded to a fire in a home on the northwest side of town early Thursday morning. It happened around 5 a.m. in the 200 block of Newson near Vance Jackson Road.
