Newly acquired Cowboys WR George Pickens spoke on his arrival in Dallas, expressing his excitement of playing alongside CeeDee Lamb and catching passes from QB Dak Prescott.

Weeks after Jerry Jones teased some " pretty substantive trades ," the Dallas Cowboys finally delivered. On Wednesday, the Cowboys acquired wide receiver George Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-rounder, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Lamb will still face pressure on game days, but with Pickens on board, and if the Cowboys use KaVontae Turpin more on offense, things should get a little easier. Rookie head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who will call the offensive plays, can use all the weapons necessary in Year 1.
