It didn't take long after Epic Games unleashed famous Star Wars Sith lord Darth Vader into the game Fortnite -- complete with the AI-enabled voice of late actor James Earl Jones for conversations with players -- for Vader to drop the F-bomb.

James Earl Jones's estate allowed "Fortnite" to use the late actor's voice for its Darth Vader character. Epic Games had to issue a fix after it started cursing.

The union has now filed an unfair labor practice charge (link to the PDF is on the SAG-AFTRA website) that calls out “ Fortnite ‘s signatory company, Llama Productions” for “ [replacing] the work of human performers with AI technology” without “providing any notice of their intent to do this and without bargaining with us over appropriate terms.”
